About Get Daily Deck
Get Daily Deck is a network of 12 independent sites, each covering one subject properly rather than one site covering all of them badly.
Why separate sites
Someone looking for a temple's timings and someone sizing a home loan want completely different things. Splitting them means each site can be shaped around its own readers — its own navigation, its own tone, its own pace of updating — while still sharing one look and one set of standards.
How they are built
Every site is static: plain HTML and CSS generated ahead of time, with only as much JavaScript as a page genuinely needs. Interactive tools run entirely in your browser, so the numbers you type are never transmitted anywhere. Pages load fast on a slow connection, which matters more than any amount of visual polish.
How they are kept honest
Information that changes over time carries the date or the year it applies to. Temple and travel details are checked against original sources before publishing. When something is an estimate or an assumption, it says so rather than presenting itself as fact.
Corrections are welcome and get priority — if something here is wrong or out of date, please say so.
How it pays for itself
These sites are free to use and are supported by advertising. Ads never determine what gets written or which products get mentioned favourably.
